Its protection-shielded rotary blade is located on the underside, where it safely chews through the toughest foliage and speedily provides professional-looking results. The rotary head cuts and shreds leaves and branches, and actually vacuums up the cut trimmings as you go -- depositing them into the onboard bin or the large volume collection bag (included). The shredding action reduces waste by 10:1, and the clippings are ideal for recycling into mulch or compost.
