The Ah Ha's of Weight Loss

As we go through life, we each have many ah ha moments where we either change the course of our lives or decide to make major changes in how we do things. This is exactly what happened to Brad LaTour. Tired of watching the scale go up 5-7 lbs. each year, LaTour decided that it was time to make a drastic change in how he viewed weight loss.

Over the course of the next year, LaTour not only dropped 60 lbs., but also invented the JumpSnap, a ropeless jump rope. Since that time, he has managed to keep his weight steady, build the JumpSnap brand with a community-base website called JumpSnapNation and write The Ah Ha's of Weight Loss to share his story with others. And what we drew us into LaTour's story is simple - he is a real guy with real experience and really great advice! By imparting the principles that he learned in his personal weight loss journey, LaTour is refreshingly honest and down-to-earth as he gives his readers practical advice about how to get on the path to healthy living.

As we started reading the book, we loved the fact that from the very first Ah Ha #1, LaTour doesn't pull any punches:

Ah Ha #1: Magic Pills Just Don’t Exist
We need to keep it real. Even though it may be painful to accept, we need to be in the right frame of mind to properly absorb the upcoming Ah Ha’s. To do that, we need to debunk the most destructive myth out there and be fully committed that we finally understand and accept it:
There is no magic pill. Yes, that’s right, there is no pill to swallow to make you lose weight. I’m sorry to destroy the myth, but it’s true.

So as resolution season rolls around, think about making a change to your life. Grab a copy of The Ah Ha's of Weight Loss and a JumpSnap. In the words of Brad LaTour - "If I can do it, so can you."
