A Cuppa Joe...St. Patrick's Style!

It’s that time of year! Our ItsGoodStuff staff members of the Irish-persuasion begin getting maudlin about their heritage, and our conversations always end with the same wistful question… “Wouldn’t you love an Irish Coffee?” Well, as luck would have it, we can’t get to the Shannon Airport (purported home of the Irish Coffee drink), nor can we even get to San Francisco’s Buena Vista Café…(purportedly, first to make Irish Coffee on American soil.) But, begorrah…are we going to let that stop us from having a little St. Paddy’s celebration right here in our own offices? Are there snakes in Ireland?

Let’s start with the most important ingredient in that divine concoction (see The Best Irish Drinks for recipe specifics). That would be Irish whiskey (when it is Irish, it is spelled ‘whiskey’…when it is Scottish, it is spelled ‘whisky’.) Our particular favorite…based on years of research…Bushmills Irish Whiskey – 1608 Anniversary Edition.
